you play as war, as in the second of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. there is a battle waging between angels and demons and you must regain your lost strength as the battle rages on earth. oh, and you get to wield a giant sword! :) gameplay centers on a ruined city (nyc?) with several dungeons, lairs, etc, which become accessible as you gain more abilities. for example, there are areas you can only access with your trusty stead which you have to fight to regain. did i mention the giant sword?
