after two weeks in the hospital i am finally back home!! went in after my gut really attacked me, had major surgery where they removed the terminal ileum of my small intestine, the cecum, ascending colon, and 1/3rd of the transverse colon. i am not on a colostomy bag, thank goodness. i did have an ng tube down my nose for a while, couldn't get my gut to moves stuff for a while so we had to suck out all the intestinal fluid so i wouldn't be puking it up all the time. when my doctor finally put me on prednisone things started to turn around. i am still weak and i have lost allot of weight, my pants just slide right off me when i stand up. i still get dizzy and nauseous from time to time, can't lift more than five or six pounds and i don't have much energy so i really can't do a whole lot yet, but i am back home!!

school has been very accommodating. they put all my stuff down as incomplete so i can take the finals and what-not later. not sure what kind of schedule they have in mind for me but i'm not too worried about it. anyway, if you have any questions give me a call or an email. please keep me in your prayers and i hope to see you all again soon.
