i did a decent job on my finals and now i get a week off from school and clinic. my goal for this break? to finally finish final fantasy 12. i have now reached 156 plus hours of game time and most of my characters are above level 70. there isn't a whole lot left in the game. i still need the behemoth king hunt, not sure if i have the patience for that one to show up, and, storyline wise, i need to fight the bahamut. right now i am fighting the hell wyrm. this creature has 8,930,711 hit points. i have 5096 on vaan without the bubble belt to double his hit points and i am hitting between 1500 and 4100 with most hits around 4000. there literally are 30 plus health bars to run down on this boss before he is dead. i'm fighting him right now. actually, there is not a whole lot to the battle. i have a few combat and healing gambits active so they mostly fight on their own. its not a real difficult battle just a very long one (2 hours so far) and i haven't had to flee the area or been forced to leave anyone ko. i must say i kind of like it when the hell wyrm uses invert on me. it switches my health points with my mana points and since my mana points get low before my health points does its a quick heal and now i've got a free mana refill. :)
i did get a chance to see the bleach movie in the theater and that is an excellent movie. the theater was packed, i'm happy to say, and if you didn't go see it, then shame on you. i am thinking about changing the appearance of this site and i need to find a good way of incorporating links into the site via a drupal module of some kind. just a few projects i am working on right now, but first i think i will add dipity to the site.
**updated 6/17/2008**
so i thought the hell wyrm had alot of hp. today i am fighting yiazmat, the wyrm god, who has 50,112,254 health points!! and my best sword that i just found this morning, excalibur, actually heals him! holy damage against a holy creature equals heal i guess. found that out the hard way. i'm flipping through forums and some people fight this guy for days straight before he goes down (that is on battle lasting days people, this boss is hard core). i don't think i have the patience for that. if, at this next attempt, i don't see much progress i'm ganna start trying some of these tricks i'm ready. apparently there is a way to beat him in an hour and if i could find some text on that...
