high capacity flash drives

one of my classmates pointed out a new flash memory drive that holds 64 gigs. sadly its a little out of my price range at $144.99 at newegg.com. so i start wondering just how high do these drives go now? i think this is the highest volume for sale right now, but there is both a one terabyte and a fifty terabyte drive in development. the one terabyte uses a new technology called programmable metallization cell (pmc). current flash drives store information as an electronic charge and they are quickly approaching the physical limitations of that method. the pmc system uses copper nanowires the size of a virus. somehow it builds an on demand copper bridge to record binary information. a bridge equals 1 no bridge equals 0. anyway, its all in the link below. the fifty gig drives is coming out of harvard medical and utilizes bug protein to accomplish this amazing amount of memory. still, i am confused with this article. its title clearly talks about flash drive memory but the article talks about dvds. granted they would hold alot more than even blue ray but the article and title don't match. still, the link is below.
