in honor of canada day i bring you this fun little anime music video from you tube. enjoy. :)
bandai is building an 18 meter (60 feet) tall mecha replica as part of gundam's 30th anniversary celebration. to give you an idea of how tall this thing is, in the model they show a person next to the statue and the person comes up to the ankle. the statue of liberty is 46 meters (151 feet) so its not quite that big, but it still huge! it will be equipped with lights and fog makers to add to the effects. it is the rx-78-2 gundam from the popular series and will be on display in july in a park in odaiba, tokyo. its being made in segments so it can be deconstructed, moved, and reconstructed across the nation of japan.
its a jonathan coulton hellsing anime music video and it is very very cool! gatta love the joco and he is even better with anime. need i say more?
as you can see from the trailer, something has gone horribly wrong and the guy who used to scoff at the idea of teamwork must now become the team leader. not sure when it starts up, but i will definetly be keeping my eyes open for this one.
yeap, its another weird one. its been out for a while on the ps2 but it only recently showed up in my internet wanderings. its a 2d fighting game with excellent graphics and even better reviews. so what is the wierd part? all the characters are cliche anime female roles with monsters and mechs as their weapons. i wouldn't pay much for it, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun to play.
viz media has announced a bleach movie for select theaters this summer!! the full lenght anime movie bleach: memories of nobody will then be released on dvd in winter of 2008. the plot seems to be unrelated to the manga/anime and has a new soul reaper and realm of the supernatural, valley of screams.
one of my favorite amvs taken from one of my favorite animes. the cast from negima sing a song from the musical wicked that fits their characters perfectly and makes for great comedy. enjoy.
naruto is an anime about an aspiring ninja, naruto, who wears an orange jumpsuit.
sumire takahana is your average schoolgirl, except for her ability to see ghosts of course. she then gains the ability to see "viruses", monsters of varies shapes and sizes that want to consume her.
this clip is the opening song to the anime simoun: girls in airships. if you paid attention to the clip you might have seen a grand total of two males in the clip. this anime presents a unique take on puberty, everyone is born female.
