yeap, it's true. a senior at the franklin military academy in richmond, virginia was suspended from school for bringing his own deathnote notebook to school with the names and fictional deaths of several of his classmates written in its pages. with all the school shootings going on these days its easy to see how the administration can overreact in this way. however, since the students on the list claim no fear of death, harm, etc. coming from the student in question and no other mention of any psychological problems this could very well be an example of the school over-reacting to a perceived but nonexistent threat.
